FACILITIES AND SECURITY OFFICER

General accountabilities:

Responsible for developing, implementing and administering all segments of the Bank’s Security Program including physical, personnel, and procedural security. Monitor the testing of appropriate intrusion devices, alarms and cameras that record activity in appropriate locations and that warn of threats. Responsible for developing and implementing physical security procedures for all of the Bank and Holding Company locations. Develop and maintain investigative practices and standards, and investigate all suspected internal and external criminal violations, suspicious incidents and policy violations that may become security issues. Responsible for developing and administering security training programs. Establish and maintain satisfactory liaison with law enforcement officers. Manage and submit a Security Program evaluation and compliance report to the Boards of Directors at least annually. Prepare annual budget for security related matters for approval of Senior Management. Attend annual training to stay abreast of new developments in security. Communicate and coordinate with all internal Bank departments to ensure enforcement of the Security Program. Review, maintain and monitor all branch security reports. Review and coordinate annual security audit of all banking facilities. Manage the maintenance for all facilities, grounds and equipment including, but not limited to, maintaining HVAC, water, power, plumbing and elevator services and mechanical upkeep.  Coordinate service calls as needed for grounds and building related repairs. Obtain quotes for maintenance contracts including HVAC, landscaping, snow removal, pest control, cleaning services as well as quotes for major repairs and maintenance. Assist in activities necessary in the construction of new branches and facilities, remodeling projects and building maintenance, including coordination of contractors. Assist with supply deliveries and ensure proper distribution of supplies to departments. Conduct and/or coordinate periodic inspections of facilities to ensure facilities are clean, well maintained and in good repair. Ensure ADA and OSHA compliance of all facilities. Provide emergency “on call” services in response to after-hours calls resulting from building alarms. Ensure that parking lots, buildings, and grounds are clean and well maintained. Snow removal and inclement weather on call responsibility. Conduct general repairs and maintenance of all interior and exterior spaces to include but not limited to carpentry, roofing, painting, patching, moving and general renovation duties. Supervise various contracting crews, including janitors and building maintenance personnel. Create a schedule of regular evaluation of the facilities. Ensure the safety of the building or establishment from fire, flood and other hazards.

Skills/education/experience required:

Candidate will possess an Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two year college or technical school; or five or more years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to travel and pick up supplies. Demonstrated ability to lift up to 20 lbs,bend, stoop , climb and reach.
