Universal Banker Ambassador Club Director

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Will process customer transactions in a timely, accurate manner, adhering to established Bank regulations, policies and procedures. In addition to teller window transaction duties and responsibilities, this position includes opening, maintaining and closing all account types, taking loan applications, solving client problems, ordering debit cards, onboarding clients, answering client phone calls and cross-selling products and services or making referrals. Coordinates and attends all activities for the Ambassador Club, including some travel.

- Candidate must be self-motivated with the ability to cross-sell and meet product sales goals
- Candidate will possess the ability to develop strong customer relationships
- Must be organized, detail-oriented and accurate; possess good oral communication skills and grammar; be professional in appearance, pleasant, courteous, and a good listener
- Maintain current and accurate club membership records, the membership email and mailing list
- Produce monthly status reports for management summarizing activities, membership totals, and key statistics
- Play an active role in supporting the sales mission of the bank, especially in the area of retail products/services, and trust and investment services
- Attend and make positive contributions to Retail Sales meetings
- Work proactively to meet contact and sales goals as established by Retail Banking leadership
- Assist in developing the annual club plan and budget, maintain and monitor the general ledger account used to administer Ambassador Club expenses, ensuring that operating the club falls within budgetary guidelines
- Actively manage and grow the Merchant Discount Program
- Handle the day-to-day administration of the package of ancillary services and related materials provided to clients in conjunction with club membership
- Maintain a current and accurate calendar of events in cooperation with the F&M division Ambassador Club Director
- Keep bank personnel aware of club activities, events, and other related issues
- Work with appropriate bank staff in planning, developing, producing and distributing periodic club mailings, e-mailings and promotions, including the periodic club newsletter
Skills/education/experience required:
Must have the ability to work a flexible work schedule. Must have a satisfactory record of work performance adhering to all Bank Policies and Procedures. The Bank reserves the right to schedule employees at all locations based upon customer and location needs. Post high school education/one year in banking or related field preferred. Must be patient and empathetic, a good listener and enjoy working with a mature group of clientele.
