Job Description:
CBI Bank & Trust has an exceptional opportunity at our Coralville Banking Center.
General responsibilities are developing and maintaining a high quality loan portfolio, contributing to the bank’s deposit growth, and serving in a meaningful role of leadership in community affairs. Specific duties include managing customer relationships and providing superior customer service and financial counsel to customers on business management and financial matters; handling simple to complex customer accounts; proactively resolving customer service issues; making credit decisions independently and within established lending limits; identifying, soliciting, and successfully bringing prospective business loan/deposit relationships to the bank; and representing the bank in the community through various organization memberships and involvement in civic, social and community activities.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in business/finance and have 5-7 years of bank lending or financial services experience. Must have knowledge of standard lending practices and methods, expertise in dealing with commercial lending and the ability to proactively assist businesses with a wide variety of loans. The candidate must have exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
