Job Description:
CBI Bank & Trust has an exceptional opportunity for a Mortgage Loan Originator at our Davenport Banking Center.
Our MLO’s are responsible for many aspects of originating mortgage loans, in addition to advising and assisting our customers to determine the best loan option to meet their needs.
General responsibilities include, pre-qualifying customers for loans to obtain biographical and financial information. Reviewing incoming documents, credit reports, appraisals and other information throughout the process to determine loan status and assure compliance with program guidelines and loan policy. Maintains professional relationships with the real estate affiliates and participates in selected community activities to increase the bank’s visibility.
The idea candidate will possess a High School diploma, plus additional training equal to two years of college or comparable work experience. Consumer lending experience and/or real estate administrative support experience a plus. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
