Job Description:
Teller Supervisor: Hy-Vee Banking Center
(Must be available to work M-F until 7:00p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. – 4p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 2 p.m.) Days of the week and weekends will vary week to week.
General accountabilities of position:
Provides excellent service to clients and prospects while helping with their financial transaction. Supervises and coordinates activities of the Hy-Vee Banking Center teller staff and operations. Assures customers receive prompt and courteous quality service. Audits accounts, records of proof, and certification to ensure compliance of workers with established standard procedures and practices. Will assist with interviewing, hiring, and mentoring of new tellers. Schedules tellers to participate in staff and department meetings. Will be accountable for learning and adhering to all bank regulatory standards, policies and security procedures. Records public announcements via the Hy-Vee sound system and encourages staff to do the same.
Skills/education/experience required:
Previous supervisory experience within the teller operation preferred. PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
Eligibility factors:
Candidate must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently, organize tasks and meet deadlines. Candidate must have the ability to cross-sell and meet product sales goals. Will possess excellent communications skills and problem solving ability. Enjoy coaching staff.
